"New PC formulations"

I see that PCE is already stocking Kato's newly formulated clay which is fantastic! However, isn't it Phthalate and not Philate, thats been removed?

According to Kato, thier clay reformulation has "maintained all craft attributes of previous formulas while providing improved conditioning characteristics."

However, also, according to them "... two main competitors this has meant new formulas that are significantly softer...these new competitor formulas no longer reflect the range of techniques published in numerous craft books on the subject". On other forums this has been discussed as a possible cause for new boxes of Super Sculpey FIRM to contain overly soft clay(as soft as, if not softer than, regular Super Sculpey).
-Is there any discussion with manufacturers on future production/formula-changes to correct this issue?

-Also...any news on when Kato's new sculpting clay will be available to the general public? Katherine Dewey, who has tested some of this new clay has stated that this new clay is "... by far, my favorite clay to date" which means I'll be wanting to get my hands on some asap.

You would be correct about Phthalate... I will have to change that...

I don't know about the sculpting clay, but I'm also interested in it, since I sculpt....

Once I find out, I will let you know!
