"Good Matte Spray Sealer? Krylon now turns my stuff sticky!"

Hello,
I have used Krylon Matte spray for over 7 years or so, to seal my polymer clay (cured) items that have been painted or have pearl ex baked on.

The spray bottle I have had for years (I can't believe how long it lasted) recently ran out so I got what looked to be the same product (Krylon Matte Spray), but it has turned all of my pieces sticky! Ick! (thankfully they were not ordered pieces, just test subjects)

I am in a rush though to find something else that is safe to use on polymer clay in a matte spray form, can anyone give me some suggestions? I have orders needing to go out and I am scared to try anything else on them until I get a good recommendation of a safe product that will not turn them sticky too.

I'd appreciate any feedback!

I've had very good results with Testors Dullcote(the spray enamel only).

One question - does the smell linger on the clay very long?

I use it on resin dolls all the time - the smell isn't too bad to start with and disappears quickly. I can bring the sprayed pieces inside in an hour with no problems.
