Four-day workshop, beginning at 10:00 am Wednesday May 19th and ending 5:00 pm Saturday May 22nd

A MAJOR NECKPIECE FOR THE OPERA OR THE WALL -- This intensive 4-day workshop will cover making hollow large scale polymer beads in multiple shapes including a variety of techniques to cover them such as layering, carving, and sculpting. Arranging and assembling the elements with appropriate findings should give you a finished piece at the end of the class. The emphasis, however, will be on enabling the student to develop their unique personal expression through group and one-on-one discussion.

This workshop is for advanced students only!!! Because it is intensive, individuals new to polymer clay or who have taken only a couple of classes/workshops, should NOT take this workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity for advanced students to complete a major piece of work. Kathleen has committed to coach exactly 12 artists, not one less or one more. To ensure this number, we must request payment in advance of the workshop.
Upon registration, a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required and the balance of $315 is due by April 1, 2010. Contact PCE to register. We will develop a waiting-list.
