An award winning artist, Gail's mission is to use any material it takes to illustrate her ideas. She has taught extensively too many ages and interests, in locations both in the U.S. and abroad.

Gail divides her time between creating her work, showing her work and encouraging others to create their own work, reveling in the spark and arc that travels between her interactions in these different and varied aspects of her life. In all of her classes she builds in a way to make them foolproof, there is always a way to fix anything! Using humor and excellent materials she'll take you through the steps necessary to realize your vision.

Recognition of her abilities appears in print, both in trade publications and books in several different fields. Through the granting of awards she has been able to pursue new methods and master new materials.

Workshop description:
In this full day class students will begin to explore how handmade felt with its light and sculptural attributes can be the basis for beads, brooches and small sculpture. Emphasis will be on embellishment and form.

Kit to include: Fleece, a sew on tie tac, beads, thread, needles and sequins.

Students need to provide: A shoe box size waterproof container, a large terry cloth towel, sharp, pointy scissors, (embroidery size is fine).
