| Description: | This is a 2 Day WorkshopInstructor: Gail Crosman MooreDate: Saturday and Sunday, June 19th and 20th
Cost: $170 including all supplies and material
An award winning artist, Gail's mission is to use any material it takes to illustrate her ideas. She has taught extensively to many ages and interests, in locations both in the U.S. and abroad. Gail divides her time between creating her work, showing her work and encouraging others to create their own work, reveling in the spark and arc that travels between her interactions in these different and varied aspects of her life. In all of her classes she builds in a way to make them foolproof, there is always a way to fix anything! Using humor and excellent materials she'll take you through the steps necessary to realize your vision. Recognition of her abilities appears in print, both in trade publications and books in several different fields. Through the granting of awards she has been able to pursue new methods and master new materials.
Workshop Description: End caps, components and pendants are where we will place our focus. These clay pieces can be colored with the techniques you will learn in the coloring metal class on Sunday if you desire. Students will have the opportunity to experience several techniques for applying pigment to their metal pieces without the use of an expensive kiln. |
